Creating H264 files for Digital Signage (shortcut)
When creating a video on a Macintosh, export or save the video (depending on the software being used) as an .mov file with H264 compression. If audio is required, make sure you use MP4 for your audio output.
This creates an .mov file that is in the correct compression (H264) for InfoChannel, but cannot be read because it is an unsupported file type (.mov). To make this readable by Scala InfoChannel, simply re-name the file from a .mov file type by changing the suffix to .mp4. This changes the file type marker, but the content is still H264 with MP4 audio and therefore readable by InfoChannel.
